Doctors and nurse will provide a general NHS advice and treatment in addition to this we also provide specialist services/clinic.
Here is a brief description of some of the National Health Services we are happy to provide

Acupuncture Clinic Pascal DaSilva, Member of the British Acupuncture Council offer private consultations to both registered and non registered patients. |

Carers We are interested in the health and well being of the carers as well as those being cared for. If this applies to you please let us know and arrange an appointment with Dr Doherty. |

Child Health Development Clinic Child health development checks are arranged for all children registered within this practice and these are performed by Dr Whyte and our local health visitor. |

Clinical Psychology A principal Clinical Psychologist holds a clinic in our medical centre every Thursday. Patients can be referred after a consultation with one of our doctors. |

Condoms Condoms are available free at the Medical Centre. |
|
Counselling All doctors offer counselling appointments where patients may benefit from longer than the allotted appointment time, our doctors can arrange for you to have a longer consultation. |

Emergency Contraception If you think you require emergency contraception please ask to speak to a nurse or doctor. |
|
Family Planning The practice can give you advice on family planning including fitting coils and the contraceptive implant. |
|
Health Promotion Judith Morgan, an experienced Health Promotion Officer works within the Practice on a sessional basis co-ordinating and advising on all aspects of Health Promotion. |

Immunisations The health visitor carries out children's immunisations. Other relevant immunisations are carried out by our doctors and nurses. |
|
Maternity Care Midwives hold an antenatal clinic on Fridays. |
|
Minor Surgery Certain minor surgical operations are carried out at our practice by Doctors after consultation e.g. toe nail surgery. |
|
Mother and Baby Group We provide a group based programme to mothers and pregnant women to promote emotional well-being through health promotion and a network of support. |

Physiotherapy Two senior grade physiotherapists hold a clinic throughout the week, referrals can be made as necessary by one of our doctors or self referral. |

Private Medical Fees These may be charged for common items of service not covered by the NHS. |
|
Sexual Health Two daily sexual health surgeries are held with appointments with both male and female doctors. |
|
Smoking and Weight Management We can help you with smoking cessation and managing your weight, for more information or to make an appointment contact reception. |

Sports Medicine Many of our patients are actively involved in sports, Dr Jane Dunbar a recognised expert in Sports Medicine holds a clinic every Wednesday. Patients are referred to this service by the Doctor or Physiotherapist. |
